Trace

Terms of Service

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms cover your use of Trace (tracepm.app), a project-management app for remodeling companies built and run by Jared Linde. By using Trace you agree to them.

Accounts

Trace is for people working at a company that uses it. Keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.

Your company's data

The jobs, files, and other information your company puts in Trace belong to your company. Trace uses them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

  • Don't try to get into other companies' data or other people's accounts.
  • Don't upload anything illegal or anything you don't have the right to share.
  • Don't try to break, overload, or copy the service.

Connected services

Trace can connect to Google (Gmail and Drive) and JobTread. Your use of those services also follows their own terms. You can disconnect them at any time.

AI features

Some features use AI to sort email attachments and read material lists. AI can make mistakes, so check anything important before relying on it.

The service

Trace is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Trace isn't liable for indirect losses or lost profits from using it. Accounts that break these terms may be suspended.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when. Continuing to use Trace means you accept them.
